HELP PLEASE
Can someone please advise me, my hubby has been on Champix for 3 weeks now and he has had a very sore swollen (fluid filled) knee for 2 weeks also his ankle is up like a balloon, is this a side a
effect or just a coincidence?
Im not a doctor but this could be a circularity issue and I really do not think its a side affect. I would just make a doctors appointment they may have antiflamitory pills or guide you why he is having this kinda effect. Also you could look for a 800 no. or someone to contact from champix or try online to see if this is a side effect from chamix,.........I went the cold turkey route and I just do not know enough about champix but logic tells me that swelling should not be and he may be allergic to the patch there are many things to consider ........dont hesitate go get your answers!
I have been on champix for 4 weeks , also have had very swollen and sore ankles for about 2 weeks. Also at night my legs get extremely sore have to put a heat pillow under them. Have made an appointment to see doctor wednesday and check it out. Seems strange i didnt have this problem beforehand. Will let you know but im not giving up the champix as yet.
