champix

after 50 years as a smoker I was sceptical about quit programs and methods I have over the last twelve months cut back to less than 10 ciggies a day but I did really need help for the next step . to quit
I choose champix and stayed with the pack and doctor instructions after the first 2 weeks part of the course I had left 10 ciggies and each one tasted worse than the one before by the second day of the second part of the programme I had my first day in 50 years? not sure without a ciggarette and I am now on day three and not feeling that I will go back at this stage I still have a week and a half of course to complete the first course but at now I dont feel that I want to do another course I have not experienced any adverse side effects fro the chapix tablets but I think that I am aware that the do acess the brain and various brain functions I dont believe that long term taking of these tablets is a good idea they most certainly access brain function

A big congratulations to you.
I am also on the Champix and 23 days without a smoke. Day 4 smoke free I slipped up and had a smoke.
It is great you are feeling good but please complete the course as I did champix last year and thought I didn't need the full course and stopped the course early( Yep I started smoking again)
This time I will be taking the full course whether I feel I need it or not.
Well done on your success and I wish you all the best 😀

Well done Geoffh, What an amazing achievement. I hope you are feeling proud of yourself, for me that was the biggest reward. Doing something so amazing feels great. Keep on going
