Hi Everyone, I Quit Smoking 25/11/2014. Today It has been 54 days. I had been smoking for 30 years. I am going to be as possitive as I can!!. Getting up in the morning is.... how can I say this?...
Well all I can realy say is it sucks... I am hoping the mornings feel better soon..Oh yes and the eating! well bye bye slim figure. On the up side no more congestion, no more smelly hair, body, clothes, house, car etc... and extra money in the bank.

Hi Maia, Congratulations on your quit. Job well done. I quit smoking 5 months ago coldturkey, and very proud of myself. As for the am routine, I changed from smoking to exercise or eat my breakfast. It was hard at first but time heals everything ;). Good luck to you!
Hi Maia, I'm 14 days quit today and I struggled with the mornings myself and still do(although mildly now). I still wake up and think of having a smoke with my tea (don't drink coffee anymore). But what I do now is make my cup of tea and have a look at this forum for some inspiration. I'm then reminded that I'm not doing it alone. I also remind myself of my reasons to quit and the benefits that I am experiencing because of quitting. The crave crave goes away quite quickly and each day gets easier and easier. Hang in there. Best wishes on your journey. xx

Hi maia, I'm on day 43 smoke free and like you had a morning routine that involved cigarettes. I had to change my routine as I used to go out on the patio every morning equipped with coffee and cigs for many years and I never drank coffee without one at home. I stopped going outside for a coup,e of weeks as knew this was my biggest trigger and now several weeks later can now do it again without smoking. Have a look at your routine and see if there is something you can change that will help. All the best and well done on your achievement.
