I have quit smoking a few times, once for 2 years, once for about 4 years and a few shorter periods. Each other time that I have quit smoking I have continued to 'feel like a cigarette'.  I had always felt like an 'ex smoker'.  This experience has been very different for me in that I have not had the craving for a cigarette throughtout the experience.  Dont get me wrong, the first weeks and months I felt this slight tug, pull, calling me and I ignored it and got busy with other things.   One of the ways I have managed is to eat more; more chocolate,lollies etc and now I have several kilos to loose.  I am not extremely overweight by any means, currently weighing in at 73 kilos and 5 ft 3 in.  I have allowed myself to gain some weight knowing that I could deal with that when I felt confident enough to do so.  I have recently started the Lite N Easy program and now working on loosing several kilos.   I am feeling great, i breath easier, sleep better, dont smell like I use to, I am so glad I quit smoking and do not feel like I will ever smoke again.
