4 months smoke free

Posted in Quit experiences
schedule 17 Jan 2015

I am 4 months smoke free, It's only in the last 2 weeks I felt the real benefits of quitting.

I went through every feeling imaginable, by the way I quit using champix. I was so depressed and loney without cigarettes and times I craved them so bad I would be in tears, now 4 months on I no longer crave a smoke, the mornings were the worst for me :(

It's like I have never smoked, I have more money, feel/smell great, my daughter is so proud of me.

TO ANYONE THINKING OF GIVING UP, ON "GIVING UP" . . .  . . .  .  . keep going !!!!

Hi berniepixie. What an achievement. And it just goes to show that even though you experienced some not so great reactions to quitting, you still did it! Congratulations! I'm on day 13 today and going strong. :)

That's fantastic beanie pixie what an achievement. I'm on day 41 and already it is so much easier although I won't get too confident in case it catches me out. Well done and thank you for updating us as it really gives me inspiration.
