I have smoked for 30 yrs 40 a day, I am in my 4th week, realising that a smoke was such apart if my life. Uncomfortable. Smoke, nothing to say. Smoke, happy. Smoke, just ate. Smoke. It's a part of my personality I don't need.

Well done Wendie I also smoked for 30 years plus and am now 21 days smoke free, woohoo ! Does make you realise doesn't it how much smoking was a part of us and that it is possible to function without it. Happy new year to you

keep up the good work. It does get easier but you have to remember "You can't have just one"

I wish I could put that in bold letters as many have posted on here they thought they could have just one, but it just started them back on the list of smokers. Makes it harder to try again.

Hang in there Wendie. I am 2 years clean but still am tempted, but I will never go back to being a smoker. You will be the same.
