Getting there

Posted in Quit experiences
schedule 17 Dec 2014

Hi, This is my 10th day of being smoke free and have been using Champix for 3 weeks without any side effects . It has helped me enormously in reducing withdrawal symptoms and only today have the cravings been intense, but i managed to talk myself out of it along with reading stories on this site for inspiration.

I have smoked for over 30 years with many failed attempts along the way and feeling positive and hopefull that i will crack it this time. It's good to know that these cravings are normal and that there is a light at the end of the tunnel, thank you

Congratulations! I am on day 12 being smoke free. A few times I have thought about having one but haven't...don't want any, don't have any is what I tell myself and it passes pretty quick. I too have failed a few times, so far so good. I quick cold turkey.
