I have tried to quit. I have had my minimal quota that I allow myself to smoke daily before I quit.My biggest problem right now is that my husband has made HIS decision & has told me to give up completely, something that I thought was when you were ready & not when someone dictated to you.I have tried to please him, but,it really hurts when you feel like your freedom of civil liberty has been violated & someone, your husband, dictates & makes you feel like a weak & stupid idiot that has no strength etc. How can you give up until you are really ready when someone dictates to you & punishes you by nagging you to death when you smoke just that 1 more cigarette. My patience is really pushed to the extreme with him. He has threatened to leave me because of my lack of strength. Someone please help me!

I also have another problem. We have new next door neighbours. They party all night & every day of the week. What we hear sounds like they are all lesbians. I have no problem with that but.Being a christian,I don't judge anyone. We hate the sin & forgive the sinner. When I hear them swearing & cursing & their children carry on,I wonder where it is coming from. Please Lord Help Me!

I apologise for my previous comments. Yes,it is very hard to give up smoking. You have to look at all levels of your life & why you do things.Giving up smoking is like giving up an old friend that has always been there for you when you have been through the toughest moments in your life & that familiar cigarette has always been with you. SHIT YEAH!When I went through my divorce with my husband,it was the first thing that comforted me.When I went through the death of my father, well,it helped.
