Day 13 - A Challenge
Today is day 13 for me, yesterday and today have been "struggle street" and seemed so much harder than the first 10 days, triggered by work related stress. I didn't realise that I smoked to avoid my feelings so much so I just called the Quitline to get some support and reassurance, which really helped. I need to understand that in time, I will feel normal again...one day at a time right!
Hi Steve01,
I'm not sure if they are ex smoker volunteers but the guy I spoke to last week was really helpful and got me through. How are you going?

Hi Sally, first of all congratulations on your quit. You should be proud of yourself for doing an awesome job quitting smoking. It is a very hard thing to do, but you can do it!!! I quit smoking 4 months ago cold turkey, and to be honest I hardly have any cravings. I am just thankful that I found the courage to quit smoking, and I am enjoying being a non smoker and feeling healthy. You can do it!!! Good luck to you!!!
