Have manged to not smoke for 2 whole weeks and have found it not as difficult as I anticipated until day 10. It shocked me as I have easily managed my cravings but this was overwhelmingly strong and persistent I so wanted a smoke I thought about smokes consistently even imagined myself smoking. But I had not come 10 days of not smoking to become undone. I kept telling myself the amount of money I am saving is way more important than me smoking, I like seeing the savings. Kept self talking that I will not smoke and reminding myself the health benefits and all my reasons for not smoking. Day 11 was similar with really strong urges but I have fought through it and am still a non smoker. It feels good to know that I do have the ability to manage my willpower and the strength to overcome this addiction with the support of champix and quit buddy plus the stories I read here.. i think I would be bitterly dissapointed in myself had I smoked, so here I am at 2 whole weeks I am a non smoker yippeee.

Weird how day 10 seemed to scream out to you. Glad you overcame. I'm doing cold turkey . Wonder if I will experience the panic anxiety . I will know that that is the last ditch effort of nicotine trying to replace itself before it's gone. Good luck

Thank you Clee for your post, which gave me hope. I am at Day 13 and yesterday and today have been the toughest (which made no sense to me at all) your comments really helped me!
