I feel different

I am now day 12 and the cravings are getting fewer and easier to manage. I have been keeping myself busy by doing extra little things around the house and spending more time pampering myself by doing my nails, having bubble baths and putting treatments in my hair. I feel as though there is more time in the day to do all these things and I love how when I spray perfume on it's not to cover up the foul smell of smoke. My skin does look clearer and mornings at the gym end with a sense of achievement. All in all there are no negatives to giving up.....we have had social events where there are lots of people who smoke and it already has no appeal to draw in smoke and blow it out. Imagiming the bottom of an ashtray helps!!! Hopefully I can keep this mindset and stay away from the fags.....I want to give up forever.

Congratulations...I'm sure your eyes look more sparkley too. Good on for going to the gym and pampering yourself, it's nice to reward yourself for finally quitting. My sister still smokes and when I see her she smells really unpleasant and I find myself wondering if I smelled as bad as she does, but why wouldn't I? I used to smoke as much as she does. I'm only on day 10, but so far I'm really proud of myself, I hope you are too! Keep up the good work!

Thanks Trish, I really do feel much better!! Keep up the good work and reward yourself... It all helps!
