When can i stop taking the pills?

I feel like im ready to stop taking the pills, do you think its a good idea or not? Im actually tired of taking them because i still get nauseas sometimes when i take them even though i tried taking it with lots of water and after a meal. I also know that i wont smoke again, its like history for me now, people smoke infront of me and im blank which i guess is a good thing. some advise anyone?

Hi Anir
I don't know how long you are on the pills but I was for nearly 3 months, I used the last 2 weeks worth of pills to cut down on my dosage and wean myself of Champix. I had a full week left when I decided I don't need them anymore. I'm 431 days a non smoker and like yourself I know I will not smoke again.
Good Luck and do what you feel is best for you.

Hi ByAnir, I really think you should speak to your GP as you are supposed to wean off the pills, I would really hate for you to go back to the ciggies all for another few weeks on the pills, you have come a long way and should be very proud of your achievement, I wish you all the best in what ever choice you make

I'm on the start of pack two I feel the same. I may not need them. But I'm doing the whole 12. There must be a reason for a 12 week program me. I've heard if you stop you can relapse and smoke again. But what about all those people who don't. I'd talk to your Dr too. I had a real problem with nausea too. I even vomited once. Now I'm not feeling sick at all. I think I'm used to them.
