107 days!!!
Well it's been 107 days. I can honestly say I'm not even tempted by the nicotine slave master anymore.
I went to a bucks party a couple of weeks ago and there were some blokes smoking. I was drinking a lot which would normally mean I would be smoking a lot too. I wasn't even tempted. I asked one of the guys if I could light his cigarette for him because I wanted to see if I could still enjoy them, I honestly didn't want one, but I wanted to see if I would enjoy it. It almost made me sick, so I can now honestly call myself a non smoker. I didn't think I would ever get to this stage, I thought I would always be tempted by them, but the thought of a cigarette makes me feel sick now.

Hi Quittingformy! Congratulations, great job!!! You should be very proud of yourself! I could see you have strong Willpower there about your story....awesome. I feel the same way :) Good luck!

One smoke can get you hooked again I quit for 10 years. Got divorced had a smoke then I was hooked again for 15 years. I've given up for 15 days now I'm never gonna take a mother puff again. It'll get me hooked again.

I have been smoking on and off since I was in my teens. My quit attempts are too numerous to count. My longest stretch was 6 months but my "just a few with drinks with mates" led back to a 20+ a day habit. The price of my habit is killing the family budget, so I guess the Govt ploy has worked. Today, I am 5 days Smoke Free and with the support of my 15 year old daughter and wife I am doing my best to make sure this quit attempt turns into QUIT!!!
