Hi, I live at a residential college away from my parents and that means that i started smoking much more. I have quite now but I find it almost impossible to not smoke when I am drinking. I used to smoke 6 -7 smokes a day but now i have done except for one night a week when I go out with my friends. On these occasions I normally have about 5 but have not bought a pack for about 3 weeks.

Good on you, you are young and acknowledging the fact that you don't want to smoke, or at least shouldn't :). I agree the smokes with drinks is the hardest part to get past, you could try the lozenges or sprays to help with those times. You've done a great job getting away from the daily smokes, just keep focussing on your desire to be smoke free and you will get there! All the best to you!

Just one smoke will pull you right back into the nicotine addition. Try having Ice Tea or Lemonade when you go out drinking with your friends. Booze will always make it harder.

I smoked for 55 years before I quit. If you do not kick it at this early stage it will be tough. I mean real tough. do it now.
