Hi, it's been 6 days now on my 3rd attempt and I was telling my friend about it and she reminded me she use to smoke. Then said it was about 400days since her last smoke last she looked at her app she had downloaded at the time of quoting (something like this one but without community chat) 

she then said "oh but I still get cravings, reall bad that hubby almost got me a packet of smokes yesterday to get me to have one cause she said he can't handle my crankiness " I'm like ph wow really after all that time she still has problems with cravings and cranky mood crap am I not wanting AT&T for every wouldn't it be easier on me and everyone else if I just smoked then..... It really shocked me and not giving me good feelings about quitting for life

Don't let that get to you :) girl just look at her and smile and say I 'am havering no problems and I feel good about myself .

Your friend is just one person and unfortunately her comments were not very supportive but believe me there are a whole lot of us who would say you will feel, look and smell a whole lot better when you quit! I am on day 80 and when I'm having drinks I miss smoking but other than that, on a day to day basis, I don't even think about them. And as for when I have drinks, the cravings are becoming less and less. I didn't even have a drink for the first month because I didn't want that temptation, but I can handle it now and so will you......if you want to be a non smoker you can do it!

Thanks, I was really wanting to have a couple of drinks with hubby tonight as it's our night of together but I'm not sure how I will go not being able to smoke (as I haven't brought any and we will be at home not out anywhere to buy any) will I just get cranky that I haven't got smokes or will I not enjoy my drinks, maybe I should change what type of drinks I have ? I like red wine or beer

Change it up! If those are your usual drinks that you always smoked with, try something new, maybe something fun like margaritas or anything different! Sometimes we just have to avoid our old patterns until we get strong! You can do this and you won't be cranky, put out a dish of nibbles, nuts or veggies and that will help. Good luck!
