tired zzzzzzzz

Hey guys on day 3 of my quit champix working wonder dont even fancy a ciggie, and thats good for my past 20 a day habit... but the tiredness is killing me. Im a very active person, and go gym 5 times a week but since giving up sat night I have no motivation and am tired all the time...how long will this last

well friend this lasted with me during the first week but the doctor also stacked willbutrin with champix for me to over come any depression or bad mode effect and i used to take the multivitamins and royal jelly daily as i go to the gym just like you keep it up pal and after a week i think this will go

I felt tired for around 2 weeks. Once I added B12 I started feeling better. Less tired, and more alert.

I take a barroca every morning so was hoping that would sort it but it hasn't. ..good thing it dont last all day only up until 12-1 oclock... any1 else feel the 1 mg champix are a tad strong? ?

I'm on week 5 and still exhausted and having a lot of trouble concentrating. It's had a really negative impact on my work. Expending so much energy during the work day to stay focused that am falling asleep at 7.30 every night and sleeping all weekend no matter how hard I try to stay awake. The medication effects everyone differently so you could be fine or you could be like me. Either way, just remember that it is only temporary and being tired isn't a good enough excuse to give up, you just have cope. Try whinging about it to family, friends and colleagues as much as possible. It totally helps.

I too am on champix, day 64 smoke free now, and I had nausea, headaches and tiredness too. But, it is very important to note that these are all symptoms of withdrawal from all the chemicals we have been inhaling multiple times a day for numerous years, even when you are not using champix or any other kind of medication. It is hard to know what is a withdrawal effect and what is a reaction to the champix though. Once I was two weeks smoke free, I then went down to 1 mg a day (so only one pill a day). My friend and I both quit together and we both decided to reduce our dosage and here we are, day 64 and still going strong and not feeling the ill effects of champix.......or is it that we are thru the withdrawal symptoms - who knows! :). But one pill a day is working for me and I feel good, do get cravings especially when having drinks but I just have to fight through them. I want to be free from this addiction! So stay strong and know that soon you will be feeling better than you have in years, it is so awesome to breath clearly and too smell good! I wish all of you the very best on this journey - you can do it!!!

Ive been of the champix now for 6 weeks & am still suffering from the negative side effects which is apparently very common & can last for a long time.
