On my way to be smoke free!

Well its been 86 days smoke free now:)  I have been off of champix for about 2 weeks now and I was worried that I wouldn't be able to handle the cravings but so far so good. My cravings are getting less and less now. I went away on a girls weekend last weekend and having a few drinks I found myself thinking about having a smoke but I didnt do it. I was super proud of myself.  I've had a few things in the past couple of weeks happen to me that where before I would have lit up a smoke right away (stressful situations) and I can happily say I didn't do it. Its a continuous battle but it does get better. Keep up the fantastic work everyone and remember it is soooo worth it it the end:)

Congratulations, this is fantastic! I think it's time you changed your name to "I am smoke free!" You've done it! Glad to hear you made it thru girls wknd, those are the times that scare me most, but so far so good, day 50 smoke free today. Keep going, you have done it!

Thanks Kam. Congrats on being 50 days smoke free...thats awesome. I was extremely scared to have a girls weekend this year just because I know its a drinking weekend. All the girls that were there dont smoke (all quitters as well) so that helped me big time. It still scares me when I know I have a social gathering to go too and I think it will for a while but, we just have to remember why we are doing this, and do you really want to go through this again? I know I dont. And your absolutely right, we are both SMOKE FREE!
