quitter

I quit on jan.26 with chantix and i quit taking chantix after 2 weeks its been 5 months without smoking and im staying that way . i smoked for 15yrs! It does get easier just keep going!

Well done Tee! You did brilliantly. I'm on the same journey as you, (quit Chantix early after just 13 days) and I'm at the evening of day 6 smoke-free. I'm never going to smoke again but it's great to know it does get easier. Thanks!

6 days since I started champix for the second time, first time I was not truely ready or wanting to quit. This time I am determined yet aware of how hard this journey can become. At the moment I do not have nausea just bad dreams and extreme back ache feeling listless as well. Ned to stick to this

I have learned that their really are not side effects from chantix it seemed to me like withdrawal symptoms from nicotine I would have for two weeks....I had really bad migraines and sharp pains off and on for the first week and the second all I wanted to do was sleep and not wake up and cut your pills in half that's how I took them.the only crazy dreams I had was dreams of smoking cigarettes..also for the first three months I used a non nicotine e hookah to keep me from going back it helped with the morning coffee

I have been getting nausea from quitting too. I am on patches and lozenges. I particularly feel ill when I smell smoke in the street or if it's on someone's clothes. My Husband smokes. He only had five yesterday. He is my quit buddy. He is very good to me. He asks me where I want coffee now instead of going to the smoking zone all the time. That is easier for me.
