Side Effects

I am on day 25, haven't smoked since day 7 so almost 3 weeks which I am really pleased about, however, I am suffering from pretty bad nausea, upset tummy & tiredness. I am having vivid dreams too but I cope with that but the nausea is pretty tough. I found some anti-nausea tablets in my cupboard yesterday which mildly helped but I'm a bit concerned about having to take something else to help cope with the Champix. My doctor is going to call me today regarding this but I'm just wondering does the nausea stop at all during the course or does it eventually ease? Would appreciate feedback.

Hi there, i am new to this forum i have just read your question, i to have been on the champix for 28 days i suffered terrible nausea firstly so decided right enough is enough.
I rang gp for anti sickness tabs as soon as i started getting into my systym 24hours it went
I feel so much better now i take it with my champix twice daily with a large glass of cols water.
Im continuing to take them side by side so no sickness at all.
Good luck
Chris

Hi I used Champix for the full 3 months and had only one day of nausea. I believe this was because i did not eat or drink with the pill. Make sure you drink plenty of water before with and after the Champix and make sure you eat well. Sure you may gain a few pounds now but once you quit you can deal with that. I also had absolutely wild and vivid dreams on Champix. Common side effect I was told. Just go with the flow lol some of the dreams were pretty good :-) Cheers Brutig

For me I had nausea until I started taking the pill with a meal, one with breakfast and one with dinner. Since then I have felt great. Day 9 of no smoking and feeling pretty excited that I am actually doing this! Best of luck to you, hope you feel better!
