On my way to being smoke free!

Well, it was 3 weeks yesterday that i quit smoking:) (I smoked for over 20 yrs) I am using Champix again (this is my 2nd time on the pills) and so far I have had no side effects. Last time I used the pills I was extremely sick, so I am very thankful that this time I'm not. I feel so much better. I have more energy, not coughing all the time especially when I get up in the morning, smell MUCH BETTER, and I actually jogged a mile without stopping once or thinking I was going to die. It hasn't been easy this time around. My cravings are worse than the first time, and when I have a few drinks they are really bad. I just keep pushing through and telling myself that its all habit at this point. I am eating more, but I figure I would rather gain the 10 pounds most people put on than lose my life and never see my daughter graduate or get married, or see my future grandchildren.

This site has also helped me in my journey. To all of you trying to quit, or getting ready to quit, you CAN DO IT! If you slip up, its OK, just try and try again. It's so worth it. Good luck to everyone:)
