Now or never

Posted in Quit experiences
schedule 25 Apr 2014

My name is Katie, I started smoking at the early age of 16. I am now 25 and have decided after 9 years of smoking a half a pack to a pack a day along with the nagging doctors and co-workers it is time. What  originally began as a social issue now takes place with every aspect of my life. It was like a friend that won't leave you alone It took control over me and I want that control back! I have quit before in the past and gave into my cravings. I am serious this time its now or never. I know it will be a long process but it will be worth it.

Hi Katie,

Like you I started at the age of 16 and decided to finally give it away 7 months ago at the age of 45. My motivation was two young beautiful girls aged 4 and 8. It took over a 100 attempts but I have finally broken the habit and hope you can too. You have a whole life ahead of you and I hope you can manage it smoke free. Remember if this time doesn't stick then don't give up on giving up. Good luck :)
