I decided I was done destroying my body after reading a book by Alan Carr entitled "Stop Smoking the Easy Way". Best book and advice ever! I threw them away, and I will never regret it.

Hi quitter4114 don't worry about the negative's on the site saying this n that I had them to but you have to do it your way and if it works for you all good, I'm just days away from six months after 33 years of smoking and I do not regret it I love it so what ever way you choose to quit you do it ALL THE BEST.

I admit I have not been a non-smoker for long, but I AM a non-smoker. (I smoked 35 years) Thanks for the support, AfU!

I used the allen carr method as well and it is the ONLY one that worked for me. I can't imagine ever wanting or craving another cigarette in my life. :)

Still smoke free, and have had no cravings! Salma, I'm glad you understand Allan Carr's book. Do you think it's like a form of hypnotism? The book repeats itself quite a bit, I assumed it was a type of suggestion. Whatever it is....it worked for me!
