2nd time around

I am so depressed and anxious. I can feel my body failing. I qiut once before for 12 years using gum. One dam puff and I was back full swing. Its been about 8 years since I started again. The guilt of these past eight years is killing me. I want to be free of this. I have tried a few times over the past couple of days to go cold turkey and I could not bear the cravings. I am not giving up I am going to beat this before it beats me!

YOU CAN DO IT! Just remember its mind over matter. You CAN do it!

Good luck, you CAN do it. Avoid being around other smokers if possible. Set yourself a goal, tell yourself if I don't smoke for 1 week I will go out and buy myself something nice, did and it works.

Find comfort in your decision. Depression I understand is very real. Do your shower and your hair. Don't forget about

the basic care of your body. Do your nails neatly. When I get anxious it tends to be when I haven't been eating enough fruit. It is a condition of its own. I try not to have too much sugar when I am anxious. I cut back on cakes, biscuits, chocolate, lollies and fizzy drinks. Your doctor may have some advice for these problems as they can be linked. I hope your mood lifts soon.
