O-M-G Exercise feels good (among other things)

I have been a non-smoker for coming up to four weeks.

It is still quite hard – especially because I don’t mind a drink (or 5) at the weekend – but so far, so good.

One of the best things I have found since quitting is that I can breathe easier and that exercise actually feels OK because I’m now not a blubbering, out-of-breathe, mess.

That’s not to say I’m going to chuck a Freeman and start doing it for a job, there is still a long way to go to get the body in shape. But I do feel better when I exercise, have way more energy and seem to recover better too!

Annnd….something they should totally put on every packet and something no one has EVER told me is that there are other things that feel better too.

(I’m guessing it’s the extra oxygen circulating in the blood stream).

If that’s not an amazing reason to stay quit – I’m not sure what is!

Keep it going Vicki. I'm approaching 6 months and never felt better. It gets easier trust me.

Good job on four weeks! You are certainly through the worst of it now and if you never want to go through those yucky weeks again - stay quit :)
