just do it

Well after 23/5 years of smoking 40 a day i got sick with a bad dose of the flu, i spent 11 days in bed and from that point i decided to quit smoking. Well its been nearly 7 months now completely cold turkey and have never looked back. My wife to be is so happy as she is a non smoker. it hasn't been easy and yes i still get cravings but they pass pretty much as soon as they come and it does smell nice at first but then makes me sick. It makes laugh when i talk to other people who smoke and they say how did i do it , first of all you have to want to quit if you have any doubt you won't succeed it will get you every time and you got to have the will to do it. My wife to be is an asthmatic so that was one thing but most of all i wanted to do it good luck everyone who is attempting to do it cheers. ....

Well done on the 7 months, that is brilliant. You are so right, you have to want to do it. I am only on day six but I am not going back.
