This was last night

I am on day 4 of Champix, still smoking only a 7ciggi a day smoker, I cut out 1 ciggi today... Thinking of the one before bed. I am having nightmares and crazy dreams, headaches and feeling very fuzzy, I'm making mistakes at work and can't risk my job as this is my tenth week there... I am very up and down with emotions. Angry, irritable, stressed & depressed at times, I have cried twice this evening from this.... I am not sure what to do I want to quit, but can not afford to be feeling fuzzy like this at work then making mistakes and my partner be on the receiving end of my anger and other emotions...

Any advice??

I have stopped taking the Champix today. But still cut out the 2nd smoke before work and am going to try to cut out the second at lunch, then my after dinner smoke so I am down to 4 a day and go from there I think. Not sure how I will go but if I start cutting down then maybe I will be able to give nicotine patches a go.

I am sure your workplace will benefit from you being a quitter. It may take a while for you to settle. Cutting down is a good idea of yours. My Daughter once asked me to tell her when I had cut down to thirty a day. So I cut down to twenty eight for a week and made my announcement to Her. The delightful child told me " Mum- If you give up one cigarette a day and I'm not asking you to give up the hard ones, give up the easy ones. One cigarette a day and you'll be quit in a month." I find Her logic profound. It may just work for you. I'd like to try full strength patches. I have been using 7 mg. They area not strong enough. They help a bit. If I wear a patch I smoke 2-6 smokes and if I don' I smoke more like 10-12 smokes. The lozenges work well for me. My new quit date is the 1st of April. I am having a smoke free day on Sunday. You can join me if you like.
