Well I am into day 7 and I have not had a smoke! However last night was a hugh stuggle, having heaps of trouble sleeping and I was up and down all night. My wife, daughter & son-in-law who all live at home and all smoke (dirty smokers) and i actually grabed a smoke out of the packet put it in my pocket and walked away. Had many evil thoughts then put it back in the packet and went back to bed. Almost broke but got there in the end. Got to stay strong I know, but feeling good today knowing i did not have one. Cooking up a storm for dinner slow cooked butterflied leg of lamb rolled up with fetta, mint, rosemary, thyme & lemon. Got pumkin, patatos & beans which will all be cooked in my special way with herbs and garlic. Can't wait, love cooking and know with giving up smoking food tastes better. Another way of reasoning away those dirty filthy disguisting cigarettes.

The milestones are great, especially when you reach a month. I celebrated on my one month mark, and took my family out to dinner. Just remember, day by day and you will get there!!
