Tempted

Howdy.. 261 days smoke free, I quit using the patches for the first couple of days then went cold turkey.
My trouble is after all this time I am tempted to light up. I am even having strong cravings, like I had just given up yesterday.
My reasons for not giving in include my health my family and the money I am saving by not smoking.
However I fear that I might soon relapse. Can anyone who has gone through the same experience share some tips to alieviate some of these cravings??

I had a 1000 day quit going at one time. The thing is when I blew my quit, I had no conscious decision making going on, at all. Like a strange mental blank spot. I do believe those places exist, and the only defense we have against those, is the Grace of G-d, or the Force. The morning I actually smoked after all of that time was I had a fight with my husband, and his cigarettes where there on the table, and a carton in the fridge, as they always were. I had no problem with that for 3 years. Then I just picked one up and smoked it, then another and another and another.
I am currently 12 days on a new quit, one of many, cold turkey. My husband is dead. He smoked till the day he died.
In my opinion any day smoke free is a good day! Just remember when you pick up, they run in packs. I wish I could just smoke one o two with my coffee, but I cannot.
