Feeling guilty!!

Posted in Quit experiences
schedule 1 Feb 2014

My quit day was day 10 on champix.

I didn't quit on this day but I can say I did cut back my smoking a great deal! I wasn't even enjoying puffing on the cigarette, but because I had such a bad habit of smoking, I would just do it.

My Will power wasn't as strong as I thought. I'm now upto week 4 tomorrow on champix and today is day two without a ciggarette. I'm feeling much stronger, and I believe I'm on my way to being smoke free!

Last night my friends and I were drinking at a tavern, I went out with them so they could have a cig. Everyone was puffing away out in the smoking section. Feeling proud of myself that I didn't light up and smoke with them. This is why is believe I can do it. I did it last night. I can do it all the time! Staying strong!!

You are human Emma. You have every reason to be proud of your achievements and no reason to feel guilty. You're on course and doing fine mate.

We all smoked because we loved it, we are all quitting now because deep in our hearts we know it is the right thing to do.

"Nico" lies to you every day, as it does to all of us, now you stay strong mate. We're in your corner. Look at yourself in the eyes in the mirror, smile and give yourself a wink, you can do anything, you are strong, you are worth it.

Stand proud mate..... Yaayyyy Emma!!!!!

Well done Emma1992 it doesn't matter when you stopped it matters that you did and it is great that you have. Just remember one day at a time and the more days behind you the easier the day in front becomes when you wake up all the best.
