Hi all,

its been 24 days since I quit and I seriously do not want a smoke and I rarely think about it but i am feeeling depressed and suffering with lack of concentration. It's driving me crazy!! I wanted to join up at the gym but my doctor wouldn't sign the form because my blood pressure is the highest it's ever been which is even more depressing because I quit to lower it!! Has anyone else experienced anything like this? There is no way I will smoke again but it hasn't done anything to improve my health!!

Hi Dill,

I see take it handy with yourself. I am finding the same sometimes. Take it easy on yourself, it will take time, and some getting used too but you will make it. I have no doubt about that. I am not an expert but it is a possibility that your blood pressure will rise for a short time and go back down again. I would see the doctor to get it checked out.

Hi Dill,

I'm no expert either, but I think that you have to give it some time before you see your health improving. But it will definitely improve. Your blood pressure might be high because you're too stressed. Talk to your doctor.

Good luck
