schedule 17 Dec 2013

It's 51 days since I've had a smoke around 20 days since i stopped the patches... If I can do it, trust me you can too!!! I smoked a pack a day, some days a lot more. I always said I would never give up. But I've finally seen the light, the truth. I've finally starting living the real way. How is everyone else's journey going?

schedule 17 Dec 2013

Hi choosing life, good for you on 51 days good stuff, thrilled for you. I love how you described the experience as 'living the real way' that is such a deep and positive way to look at the future.... Breathing in as much as you were meant to and nourishing your mind and body so it can reach it's full potential. Have a great xmas you should be very proud.

Called in to see how everyone was going and see that I am up to 701 days cig free. I remember getting to 50 . that was a hard time. Now I rarely think of having a smoke. The worst times are when I am asleep and dream of having one.

Keep up the good work "By choosing life" and let us know when you get to 100 days , then 365 days. They are all importand occasions.

I'm a long timer like Gerry1, I'm on day 554 and laughing all the way to the bank. I shudder at the thought of how much I spent during 53 years of smoking, to say nothing of the damage to my health.

Thanks all for the encouraging words and feedback! It's nice to see some long timers! Funny thing is it wasn't or should I say isn't hard. It was much easier then I thought! Merry Christmas
