Today is going to be day 25 of not smoking...usually i always fail around the 21 day mark! I am very proud of myself for getting this far ;) I think my boyfriend and I have actually made up after I was in a mood and broke up with him in the first second week. I am more productive at work. I do have a very sore throat, tingling tongue and my gums are bleeding when I floss at night! My hands and legs are tingly as well.

Everythings more spicy to me too. Jalapeno cheetos that i get out of the vending machine at work, tacos that I made this past weekend. They were not that spicy when I smoked! I am getting more things done around the house too. As a reward, I gave myself a homemade facial ;) When I make it a month, I am going to splurge and get myself a nice outfit to wear on Christmas. Actually wear something somewhat dressy for family pictures for once!

I hope everybody else is doing good with their quit!

I have been moody on and off. It is a lot better than week one or two though. I think I got irritated twice today and told my coworker he is annoying the f*** out of me lol How did I put up with these people before?? Other than those two times I have been quite pleasant to be around, I think ;)

Hi Jada, I'm on the 5month marker and all I can say to you is: Its all worth it!! I've smoked for 30 + years and if I knew what I know today I would've stopped way back when!! Reward yourself at least once a month - remember you're not splurging on smokes anymore!

Things do smell and taste differently - I found out I don't like the raw salmon in sushi as where I used to love it. Its a whole new world for you to discover.

It sounds as if your body is detoxing from the nicotine - drink loads of water it will speed up the process.
