Feeling awesome

schedule 17 Nov 2013

Week one and I couldn't feel more proud of myself.

Didn't even need one puff of my e cigarette today because I'm now a NON SMOKER.

Went to see a movie and DIDN'T NEED TO GO OUTSIDE TO GASP ONE LAST CIGARETTE BEFORE THE MOVIE!!!

Can't believe how addicted to the habit I was, and I'm not a stupid person, so wondering why it took me so long to see the light!!!

All that matters is that you see the light now. I guess never underestimate how powerful smoking addiction can be. Its a big fight at the beginning, and slowly you take back the power from them, they put up a good fight, cravings , thoughts beliefs, emotions, they will knock on every door, just do not answer it and take the 'one' more puff. Doesn't exist it is what the whole smoking addiction was about that one puff, that leads to a chain of so many puffs, until you cannot see through the smoke, like a fog, you are trapped in, making you believe you are at the mercy of it. In the end it harms you. Unhealthy dangerous addiction I would not hold onto any of the it, including the e-cig for me its too close to the behaviour and the ritual part,it would feel like I have one foot still in. Everyone is different. Good for you on week one, keep posting here on your progress.Well done.

Yay, congrats, I agree with by converse about the e cigarette. I also have been thinking along those lines, but that's the biggest part of the habit to break! Having said that, I guess whatever gets you over the line in the end is all that matters. Keep strong and enjoy those breaths you take that are now all oxygen!!! Looking forward to a longer happier and less expensive life...
