E-cigarette for stopping cancer

Posted in Quit experiences
schedule 19 Nov 2013

I am a nicotine addict. I have been since 12 years old (now 43) I took to smoking like a Duck to water and never looked back. Have tried gum and Patches (thought of stop smoking drugs freak me out) to no avail.

A month ago a college showed me his E-cig I bought one and have'nt smoked or purchased cigarettes since.

Whilst vaping doesnt quite fulful my nicotine addiction in the same way smokes did it works very well for me as a replacement therapy

i don't want to burst your bubble, but e-cigarettes contain toxins an FDA analysis shows. The FDA looked at 18 samples of cartridges from 2 leading e-cig. brands, Half the samples contained cancer causing substances. they found other impurities, as well including diethlene glysol, a toxic ingredient found in antifreeze, it is good that you have stopped smoking tobacco but have you done any research into e-cigs. well all the best.

Sometimes a little information is a dangerous thing

Whilst pre filled cart rages are a way to go I prefer using a tank system I fill with E juice made in Australia from pharmaceutical grade ingredients PG VG Nicotine Pure alcohol and essence.

The FDA study was some time ago and used cheap imported cartridges and more recent studies have indicated no adverse effects from the vapor (of course nicotine is a toxic and poisonous substance with plenty of adverse effects)

stoprightnow, that is very old and inaccurate information. When you spread fear and uncertainty like that you potentially shut off a method of quitting that might work for somebody (like me). I do question your motives here.

In the UK right now e-cigarettes are the No. 1 method that people use to quit. FACT.

The age of virtually useless NRT products from fat cat pharma companies is coming to and end.

I have been using my E-Cig for 3 month's and I find it has really helped me to give up smoking I even rang the Quit line and asked their advice and was told if it's working for me to stop smoking then go ahead and use it as I'm still having some bad cravings most day's. So all the best to you :)
