Double digits!!!!!

I've reached double digits!!! Unbelievable. Day 10 and not once today have I thought about smoking. Today is my day off so I'm at home and pottering around the house, I have kept busy all day. I've cleaned the house top to bottom, did some painting and some gardening. I'm now sitting on the lounge and just reflecting!! 10 days is massive its my first step to beating the fags. Yesterday was a hard day, I was second guessing myself and that little addiction voice that still lives inside me wasn't helping at all, by the way will that little voice ever leave? maybe he will just get weaker, I don't know... I feel strong today like nothing is going to bring me down. Last week was so good I felt awesome physically and mentally, this week has been a tad different even though I feel like I haven't been strong mentally I obviously have because I haven't caved. But physically I haven't felt awesome, my head aches and my joints are sore. My throat is a little dry like I have to clear it all the time and my chest is a little tight although it isn't as bad as it was when I was smoking. 10 days!!!! I'm so happy and feel like I can accomplish anything. My next step is slowing weaning off these patches... But that's another story for another day.

congrats on your double digits - and yes you have been strong as you are still smoke free; no strength required if you find it easy!!

with the health stuff I just keep telling myself how much worse it would be if I was still smoking

keep up the positive attitude and your posting, as I'm sure your posts will be inspirational for other people on their journey - and here's to your next 10 days; well done

Yahoo, 10 days congratulations. What an achievement, I'm glad today was a little better for you. I also am not feeling great physically, constant throat niggle and tight chest, however my sense of smell is returning, I think my skin looks better (I'm not sure if that's in my head), my mouth and teeth feel fresh and clean. So many positives physically not to mention the mental sense of satisfaction after another successful day!

Well done again, we CAN do this!!?

I knew you would feel better at double digits it's a great achievement, but don't get to cocky because the addiction and mind will still throw obstacles in you're way.
