cigarettes for renovations......

This week i suggested we start putting the money saved from not smoking into our house. We brought it 8 years ago and we have slowly been renovating but it stopped are while back as We have been struggling finacially for a while now, since the price of cigarettes have gone up and seem to be going up on a regular basis. This week we have been doing all the renovations on our house that we have started and not finished because of shortage of funds and other things that we have always wanted to do but couldnt afford we are slowing going down the list. This week it was fix the flooring in the laundry and lay some beautiful green turf at the front. Next week we are going to finally put the new fence up and finish painting the bathroom. The week after who knows, but we will find something from my dream wish list. I am so motivated by this as i love my home but started to hate it because i could see all the stuff that when we first brought we said we would do and just could not afford it. I am on cloud nine and i can see the silver lining for sure...

We will start saving for a holiday,a big beautiful family holiday in the new year. I would love to go back to Thailand or Bali but i am thinking Hawaii this time. I cant believe that this is all happening because my oeyes were opened to all the time and money wasted in a big cloud of smoke.
