Hard yards.

I am into my 5th day, hard yards on and off but soldiering on. Trying to use decaf tea with lemon when urge to smoke comes. I seem to feel better almost instantly, breathing improved only every now and than irritable and cringing feeling comes on :((

Hi Roman, good stuff on five days!!!! your doing great you will be a week soon!!! keep posting and reading posts really help too.

Hello, I am on day 5 too! Drinking a lot of water, and eating almonds ??? I dunno why, but almonds seem to help. Already feeling and looking better. When I feel that big craving, I just imagine myself on a battlefield - much rather be battling a craving, than battling lung cancer or some other dreadful thing. Keep going!!!!!

You're doing so well so far! I'm on day 13 and found this is the first time I've felt any relief from that constant urge to smoke and am so proud of myself for making it this far. Just think about that feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment down the line!

Hi Roman, well done, the first few days are truly the hardest! The tea and lemon sounds a great idea, anything that you can think I'm having this, not a cigarette, helps. Stay strong, it's so worth it!
