I have just got back from the dentist after having my teeth cleaned today how nice and clean they look and feel the next step is to have them whitened. I also went back to my doctor yesterday and got another script for champix after having almost finished my initial 12 week course  i have decided to get another 12 weeks which you can now get if you feel you need them, i have no intention of going back to smoking but my past experience with champix was 2 weeks after i gave up the tablets i started smoking so for me this is my way of telling myself after 66 days of being a non smoker i would be crazy to start smoking again after all the hard yards have been done, i dont feel as though i need the tablets but i just want to be 100% sure that i have done everything in my power to be a non smoker. GOOD LUCK ALL STAY STRONG.

66 days smoke free well done.

If another champix prescription makes you feel safer about staying quit then do it, sounds like a good idea to me! I'd even consider reducing quantity before stopping maybe?

anyway you should be very proud of yourself, and thanks for being a role model and inspiration to those behind you

Dear sconie. Thanks for the tip. I have been a smoker for 48 years and this is my first attempt to give up. 1 day now without a cigarette, though it has been over a week of not very many. I will take your advice and continue on with Champix for quite a few weeks. Even though they make me incredibly nauseous.
