Further to last story

Hi again, I was wondering if anyone could put me at ease. I feel like I have undone all the good of not smoking for 24 days. I am curious if having that cigarette last night has slowed down the healing process of the last 24 days?? Do I physically start from scratch or only a slight set back?? Dumb question I know, but feeling terrible about it.

No! One slip up does not start you from scratch, pick yourself back up and keep going. The only thing that will start you physically from scratch is if you start smoking again. Good luck!

Thanks Ifal, I really needed to hear that. Thank you so much I sincerely mean it. Good luck to you too :)

what more can anyone say so you feel terrible about having that puff only half ciggy, just get over it if you want start from scratch you can if it was me i would not so you are 24 days smoke-free with a puff in between learn from your mistake and just keep going stay strong and all the best.

Thanks again stoprightnow, just wanted a tiny bit more assurance, and yes I will get over it. Good on you for your 45 days I beleive, well done. :)

Hi Sharon, you certainly haven't undone the good of the last three and a half weeks, as long as you can keep going now and never have the rest of that cigarette! I think you are wonderful to keep giving up, I know I wouldn't have the strength. One puff, I'd be a goner....

Hi Sharon ...well done one puff and Id be a goner too...,. so well done on keep going. You are three weeks smoke free , you hada weak moment ...... that is all it is nothing compared to three weeks. Well done ...keep going you are over the worst

Thanks so much Dottily and Converse, it is so nice to receive positive feedback. I am still being strong I haven't had another puff yuck. I keep remembering how my body felt, it was all tense and heavy as the horrible drug went through it. I am glad you two sound like your doing well. congrats to you both and thank you again. :)
