Well, I'm on day 12 now and I am amazed at just how sneaky and clever my body is. It has managed to find 12 different ways of making me feel terrible! All ingenious and unrelated. Surely it must run out of ideas pretty soon! I never get headaches but I'm sure one will be popping along sometime soon!

Anyway, to anyone out there having a hard time quitting- hang tough and ride it out. After all, how hard can NOT doing something be? I find it helps me to think that if I am feeling like crap by not smoking- imagine how bad I was really feeling by actually smoking? See what I did there- a bit of reverse psychology on myself. I am determined to quit. Hello, my name is Steve and I am a non-smoker!

Hi Steve, 12 days good stuff, the mind and body does play tricks on you ....don't give into it. Determination will win the battle.

Hi Steve,

Excellent going, it only gets easier physically. Just have to watch the mental side of it. That can be pretty hard at times. But yes really worth it.

I am on day 34 now and have started to focus more on pampering myself. I had a manicure & pedicure the other week, first time in such a long time.

I'm sure you will find things to spoil yourself with every now and then with all that extra money! I have also managed to save a bit too.

Just keep focusing on all the good you are doing.

You CAN do it.:)
