Wow quit date gone and still haven't slowed down

Well my quit date was yesterday but have changed it for next week, as I am fairly stressed out due to taking over a business in the next week. I am now day 8 on the champix I don't think I have slowed down with my smoking but have become very aware of how often I am smoking. I am still determined to quit am now going to have to get myself in the right frame of mind. Feeling a bit disappointed in myself.

I was on Champix took me until day 15, now it's been 578days without one...you'll get there, takes different people different times....

Hi Krispygal.Try to set another date and stick to it. Just remember that Champix will help you stop but ultimately you need to be strong and make it happen. I am convinced that I would not have done it without Champix but you have to set a date and then give it all you've got. You will be surprised how easy it is when you actually go for it! Keep posting here and reading other people's posts - it helps alot. I don't think I would've come this far (107 days) without this site.. Good luck - you can do it... Be strong and positive. xxxx

Thank you everyone for you wonderful support, and I have changed my date to quit, have also decided to keep a better track of how much I am smoking and work it down each day so that quit day I won't be as heavy. I know I can reduce each day. So well done everyone for your great achievements and I hope in the near future I will be posting 107 days smoke free.
Thank you
Kristine
