Day 2

Hi, made it through day 2, had cravings this morning even went looking for a hidden smoke, luckily I'd thrown them all out, so happy now that I didn't have one. The next craving I thought go and buy more food but couldn't bothered, funny that I could always be bothered if it was for smokes. I had water instead, only had about another 4 cravings in the day and distracted myself which seemed to work. No mood swings yet. How are you going lise, how did you cope with cravings today? Thanks for you support converse, always look forward to your posts.

Great work Humble - you sound just like me in the early days - I just came back on here after months as I wasn't sure how long its been for me but 194days cold turkey and loving every moment of being smoke free and so proud that I have done this after spending 20 odd years smoking - I found that the first 21 days are the hardest but after that cravings went and all my senses were in overload and enjoyed my freedom of being smoke free - keep up the great work and my advice when you have those cravings come on here and read others stories its what helped me through those first few weeks.

btw eat lots of subway i thought it was the best ever quit food trust me hope this helps

Hi humble,
congratulations on making it to day 3! I had bad craving this afternoon but did everything to distract myself including washing my car and making copious amount of jelly! worked though! Yeah I need to drink heaps more water I think. Are you chewing gum at all?

Hi everyone thanks for your support, I'm eating everything in sight, thanks for the subway idea but I don't like subway that much. Looks good for you though lise, jelly sounds like a good idea to me,will get some tomorrow. Glad your still here, great you've made it too, one day at a time. No gum just cold turkey. Well done charley girl, will be here a lot as it helps to take mind off cravings.
