cutting down before quit date

So I passed my quit date with no success, but that is now in the past and have been reducing my smokes by 2 a day, when I transfer my 8 smokes for the day into a 50 a pack day packet I tell myself that is a lot of cigaretes.  My biggest hurdle is I am home all day and realise that my triggers are being at home.  So shall keep myslef busy and not be tempted to smoke all 8 before tonight.  The champix seems to be working day 9 now as I don't seem to want to smoke but have to cut the habbit.  I get a bit dizzy and nauseated but it does pass.  So my moto today is no more than 8 and if you do less that is great.  Keep busy and take your mind off it.

make sure you have your tablets with food that way you should not have a problem, why not try to have less smokes each day then on your quit day get rid of all the things that remind you of smoking, well all the best and stay strong.

Being at home is my biggest problem too. Join / start something that gets you out of the house, and if possible gives you a boost.

Right with you - home alone and boredom were my biggest hurdles

I used cleaning as a distraction

This place is spotless now and I feel healthier!

I tried to cut down before I quit but didn't have the discipline so even cutting down is better than. Oohing!
