102 Days

Hello everybody ,
I am 102 days smoke free , can't believe it I remember reading similar posts at the beginning and thinking will I ever reach that. So happy days that I have reached this milstone. No going back now. But I have to admit that recently I have been feeling like a smoke ... up and down the last couple of days. But did not break it . I guess it just goes to show that it rears its ugly head anytime. It is a life choice . Even at this stage keeping the focus is important , I think once I start to lose the weight I have gained through it , the battle mode will be over. But yes have come way too far to smoke now.
Thanks to everyone for the messages along the way. I hope everyone is doing well , on their own journeys. Believe in yourself and you can do anything. I never thought I would be smoke free not in a million years .

yeah sometimes i can smell tobacco in the house maybe it is from outside 102 days that's really good i am only about 36 days well take it easy there is nothing wrong with being a bit chunky at least you are a lot healthier well all the best and have a great smoke-free life.

Well done Converse keep up the good work. I had a few drinks over the weekend and still didnt feel the need to have a ciggie. I guess like you i think i am well and truly on my way to being smoke free for life.

Converse I really enjoy reading your posts. I'm so glad you're still going strong. I don't think the sudden wish for a smoke ever goes totally away, we just have to ride it out and be stronger than the addiction. And the weight gain, have to work on that one soon.....

Thanks to everyone, it sudden wish to have a smoke never goes away, I have heard people off the smokes 20 years and still get a longing at times. Just goes to show, you have to replace it with something else. Focusing on the positives is the only way forward into anything. They are so many positives to quitting smoking.Smoking is repulsive. cheers everybody ....
