Temptation and no support

Hi AllI havent been on I can Quit in a while. Since Ive set my quit date I've given into smoking unfortunately which has set me back with 3 weeks. I managed not to smoke during the week as I work in an eviroment where none of the people in my department smokes and is very supportive. Unfortunately I cant say the same of my live-in partner, well that is until just over a week ago. We had a major blow up and I gave him the choice of moving out (thats how important not smoking is to me) or start being supportive and smoke outside. He agreed to smoke outside - so all is good again :-) just a pity it took a argument to convince him.Im totally smoke free for a week and to be honest I handle it better now than the first time around. You definitely need support. Dont expect a miracle overnight and do not put extra pressure on yourself to quit, do it at your own pace. I've smoked for over 30 years and its not easy to quit but I want to and thats half the war won.

Good luck to all PS: If you fall and skin your knees, pick yourself up and start again!!! Rather know that you have given your everything than not trying again!

Mantra for everytime you think of smoking: I DON NOT SMOKE
