Hi all, struggled a bit today. Got thru all the same. All the support from you all is invaluable. Did find a ciggy on the ground today, got me thinking for a minute. Then I screwed my foot over it. It's all about believing to stay strong. Feelings pass. Tomorrow is the two week milestone, go team Champix. Good luck all. Fight the good fight. Stay strong. Feelings pass.

Hey Paddy. It is a struggle. When I was off to work a few days ago I had an incredibly clear image of me raking thru an ashtray at work looking for butts to smoke while no one was looking! And I realised I could actually do it. Beat that horrid image by getting rid of the lighter I still carried. I'm ashamed of myself for even having had that thought, but hey it was only in my head! Day 18 nearly over....... I'm so glad you stomped on the ciggy you found. Stay strong and keep sharing.

Hi Paddy, well done, and yes it is a roller coaster ride, but so worth doing, I can't wait to feel free from these bloody awful things - day 16 for me and finding that it is getting better everyday!!!

Hey Paddy - you're nailing it. The first two weeks are the toughest time with Champix, believe me, from here on in it starts to get way easier. The cravings will drop off really fast soon, until there will be whole days where you don't even think about smoking. Then it will be days on end. Stay off the beers until week three. Huge congratulations. GO TEAM CHAMPIX!
