Change routine

Day 1. Nearly 24 hrs and still strong. Completely up ended my usual Saturday routine. Started with a run, did some gardening and have run the kids rugged all day. Feeling great. Hope everyone is having an awesome weekend like me. Don't get me wrong, the urge to light up is still there. This time my want not to is bigger!

Hi Paddy, Well done on your first day.... changing the routine is a good way to help distract yourself. Well done.It does get easier...as you take it one hour at a time....

Yes. Distraction, that's the key! And postponing the urge to light up until it goes away. You are very positive and that's great. I'm only a few days ahead of you and it's already getting easier. Stay strong.
