wrecked tired

Hi Converse..

I too am on Champix and like you am also really tired all the time. Im sorry Eric but Tiredness is a side effect of Champix. You are obviously one of the lucky ones who doesnt suffer from this. Im day 32 smoke free now and around half way through my course of Champix. I do avoid caffine in the evening which I suggest you do it does help. So Converse its not just you there are a few of us who have this...all the best..stay strong you will get there :o)

Hey thanks for that knew I was not going crazy. Everyone's experience is different. Also I have never left a post after midnight, the times on this site says it is 12.29..... but it is actually 6.20 Irish time real time ...so it may look as if my posts are in the middle of the night, they are not. Anyway's thank's Lindsey , it is good to know that I am not the only one experiencing tiredness.Also well done for reaching day 32 smoke free , that is amazing achievement well done you, I cannot wait to get there. It makes no difference if I drink caffeine the tabs are making me tired and I sleep regardless. Anyway's keep up the good work and i'll keep you posted...on my progress ...

Im in your time zone Converse..Im in scotland :o) this site is Australian..but like you I found it and thought it sounded friendly..and couldnt find anything similar in the UK..but hey were all doing the same thing and all speak the same language !!!

i will be having my second pills tonight for the 2nd time also.. I reached Day 5 of my treatment... I hope I will not feel this tiredness :(

To be honest, yesterday I slept at 10pm :/ which is exceptionnal hehehe... It's been 2 days in a row that I sleep like a baby...

I will keep reading you as it gives me another idea on others' experience :)))

Hey converse, i too suffered from tiredness and fatigue in the earlier part of taking champix, really bad, i just wanted to sleep 24/7. This has now improved and whilst im not bouncing off walls the tiredness has eased. Day 10 today! Good luck with your journey, i like reading your posts, keep us updated. Im Australian, nice to be able to follow your progress, even if your on the other side of the world!!

Hey, HR I find the tiredness has eased a little,I just seen to feel it as the dose goes up , then after a few days of that dose it is eases off. I ma having the nightmares for about three days now, really odd. Best of luck on your quit day too... keep posting..

Hey RJ , I am experiencing the same as you , as the dose goes up , I get tired, but it passes after a few days so I don't mind. I am on my second week of Champix so full tabs twice daily, it should be interesting to see how this will turn out for me. I will keep posted in the next few days .... but everyone is different and reacts in different ways. thanks for your post and nice to hear from the other side of the world.
