Im going to complete the Kokoda trek in less then 39hrs this year for charity!! thanks Quitline :)

HI!!!!I just waned to say that its been a year since i permanantly and happily quit smoking after many years of abusing my poor little body and trying to quit a number of times!I quit becasue i rang quitline and used this service! I quit because i used champix which i swear by! I quit because i felt empowered to be in control of looking after my body and getting into great shape after it carried me around for years while i tunnelled cigarette smoke into it constanly and it never failed on me.I quit because i watched my aunty age 43, with 3 kids suffocate slowly and painfully to death because of her smoking related emphysema. I stood next to my grandfather at the funeral for his daughter, that was also compelling.Im now a year later, easily running marathons, finished in the top 5% of finishing times in a ough mudder event, and am training specifically to conquer the kokoda trek in less than 39 hours to raise money for the legacy foundation, the john hunter hospitals NICU and i would LOVE to spread around some ecouragement to those who are wanting to quit smoking! Im also a fulltime musician renowned for having a big loud voice for my small size :) All of this REQUIRES BREATHING!! And i wouldnt be here LIVING LIFE if it wasnt for quitline.Im desperately searching for sponsors for this trip and of donations to my chosen charities. If you think you can financially help or just help spread my cause THANKYOU.And if you can positively motivate someone else to quit smoking youll be doing a really amazing thing, tell them to start with quitline!!please contact me at kirst.8@hotmail.com for any interest etc :):)

Thats great Larko. I don't know how many times i have tried to stop. My sister and her fiancee have also stopped smoking by using the Champix. Well good luck, thats a great story
