Goodbye and good riddance

So after 26 years and two tries at quitting (Smokender and Alan Carr) I am on day 2 with Champix and cannot believe how well it is going. I must say I thought about cigarettes a lot today but did not experience any 'cravings'. I know its early days but its the first time that I am not chewing my arm off after no nicotine for two days. I feel great!!! Champix highly recommended although the intention to give up has to be sincere as I know a couple of people who did not stop smoking on Champix.
Keep up the good work. So true Solo about the smell such a great feeling.

I totally agree, you have to be 100% committed to quitting, I was successful on champix after 16 years of 50 a day and was surprised how much easier it was having that mind set.
364 days later and feeling great. I still get a smile when people ask me for a ciggie and a say "Sorry I don't smoke". I have truly beaten this and will never go back.
Keep up the good work all, it's so much better on this side of the fence.
Cheers
